The eighth episode of the house of dragons was named The lord of the tides and the episode initiated with a time jump where the teens were shown who was Aegon’s younger version and Viserys as the younger self. While the children Aegon and Helaena were also shown in this part of eth series. VIsrys and Alicent have control over the court and Aegon is shown bedding the maid. The maid after getting slapped drinks the moon tea and she even apologizes to Halaena for marrying her brother. In the next scene, it was shown that Corlys is battling death and the kingdom now has three daughters in the heir.

Vermont wants to be the next heir of the court while Laenor has no heirs to give it to the kingdom. By the advice of Rhaenys, she wants her daughter to be the owner as her daughter Baela is the granddaughter of the king. Harrenhall has no rightful owner, while Daemon and Rhaenyra also claim that the children they have are rightful and they need to be the next heir to the kingdom. Jace son of the couple will have the kingdom while Rhaenyr is wanting the kingdom to be taken over and the purpose behind her marrying Daemon gets succeed as the kingdom is now hers. Viserys appear out of nowhere and on the other hand, Rhaena’s marriage gets arranged with Luke and Baela to Jace.
House Of The Dragons Episode 8 Storyline Plot
Rhaenyra is backlashed by Vaemond who is in a rage while a family feast is arranged to resolve the matters and to get a solution to the problem. Rhaenyra after the dinner return to Alicent to make peace while Rhaenyra gets in confusion and leads to more disputes among the families. VIserys dies alone in the room after the end of the scene and Rhaenyra is all left with Jacaerys with the passing of the throne. Until he further details the episodes are left is predicted that in the next episode the heir or the king might die and the coming episodes will be the end of season 1.
